A new seasonal update that is only excusive to classic "Season of Discovery" has now added extra pet npc's in some parts of azeroth by doing skill tames on them. And five new looks that are quite a Suprise, including a new family.

A New Core Hound Family has now been added in this update. In order to tame them, there is a skill required: You must use the "Inferno Lasso" item by completing the "Brought to Heel" quest in the Blasted Lands Zone in order to tame them! They were canonically first tameble in WOTLK.

A new pet ability called "lava breath" was added and discoverd in the database. As mentioned in a wowhead article, it could possibly be theorized that a tameble Core Hound would be added. Wait, don't we already have a Core Hound family in WOTLK?
